AFTER a rather long period of quiet, I have being able to write again. Nothing has changed for the best, actually it is getting worse, day by day, no matter the failed attempts of the isle government attempts. one time after the other, to improvise salt and water solutions to the financial, political bankruptcy prevailing.
Two are worth mentioning. Rice and sugar cane. The blind leading the blind announced with tons of pride the planting of some rice to be sold for schools lunch. The simple problem is the the $8 a pound to be sold for 64 cents, believe it or not....Meanwhile 3 pounds of rice in the supermarket cost $1.?
Sugar cane is one of the most complicated crops to plant considering: soil, water, fertilizers, pests, pesticides conditions not to get into the cheap labor intensive ways to collect it. The intention? To help rum distilleries to save 34 million.
That is why the living conditions in Isla Estrella, the quality of life are deteriorating constantly without any hope, possibilities to improve. Imagine the investment of over 100 million to plant sugar cane to save the private sector 34 million...The government continues the trend of making the debt a collective issue, while all the profits, the scams continue in the private sector.

PENDEJISMO ZEN EN EL 'BOTANICO' DE RIO PIEDRAS PUERTO RICO
LAS FUERZAS obscurantistas: iglesia, familia, estado que han traido la bancarrota absoluta a Isla Estrella, tambien han asesinado sin piedad alguna el concepto belleza/estetica en cualquier contexto imaginable sea urbano y/o rural en adicion a los suburbios mentados, es algo espantoso lo que han hecho cuanto tontejo ha estado a cargo de disenhar, sembrar esto o aquello con la mas pendeja imaginacion, falta de rigor/studio/analisis...un descaro total, falta de respeto a la inteligencia, el que diran.
Las fotos a la derecha demuestran, confirman, lo que hace una decada he denunciado: la tirania de la ignorancia supina, el dominio de un segmento de mentes con habilidad de escuela remedial nosturna, sin la minima capacidad para el studio, la instalacion, el manejo, la comprension del concepto composicion en jardineria/horticultura y/o escuelas, tendencias, estilos del entorno propio o el extranjero.
Cuan mamao ha de ser quien coloca gravilla de uso en construccion para un sendero, una lampara de piedra en el medio de unos bancos de madera, unos puentes jorobados de rojo camion de bomberos en un estanque vacio, con un frikitin abierto abierto con una estatuita a cada lado creyendo que con esos cuatro elementos rematados por unas palmas gigantes, se ha logrado
la esencia, el espiritu, la atmosfera de lo que en oriente/occidente se entiende percibe por un jardin chino/japones. Que partida de retardados....observe las fotos...I mirese el videito por diez minutos...para que vea con el talent de estatura galactica que cuentra Isla Estrella....I aqui no ha pasado nada....
Despues de todo, un tubo pvc, aca es considerado, 'jardin' por los retardados I sus complices en la prensa escrita, radial, impresa, virtual I televisiva.

2013 AVARICE AND GLUTTONY RULED
WATCHING two wonderful movies from Hollywood: 'American Hustle' and "The Wolf of Wall Street", reminded me of Isla Estrella, the damned, boring, loud, crowded isle where I reside.
The whole year has been a trip, to the circus that is. Lawyers, doctors, policemen, public, politicians, public and private employees were caught, accused, arrested for all imaginable scams to become rich quickly by the federal authorities since the native ones, prefer to look the other way and to collaborate with the avaricious, tax evaders and scam artists.
The gluttons everywhere in public spaces are becoming an ugly scene, walking slowly with the elegance of elephants, accumulating fat since their early years, stimulated by constantly by tv, their parents and Caribbean Cinemas, the loud local movie monopoly, a paradigm for brain washing gluttons into buying: buckets of pop corn, syrupy sodas with tons of sugar, chocolate bars and such on their premises.
This movie monopoly chain abuses the captive public with tons of LOUD fast food ads: KFC, BK, Mickey Dee, Sprite, Coke, and other unnecessary ads for 30/45 minutes, so loud that I can not stand it without ear plugs, while the deaf hogs around me chat, make phone calls, play games or send text messages before the movie starts or during.
Other things worth mentioning are the total bankruptcy of Puerto Rico, USA, aka Isla Estrella. The government has demonstrated not only an absolute lack of imagination/ideas, much worse any strategy to lift the spirits beyond the Isla Estrella ad campaign, to solve the economic, social, political, moral, educational debacle dominating daily living conditions for the islanders.
